  This is one of the go to dim sum places in my area. Service is always super fast and friendly. Restaurant is clean and right next to the asian grocery store, that's very convenient. Lines were shorter this weekend, likely due to the holidays. Food is decent, it wont blow you away but will get the job done.
  
  For everyone on the fence of trying the chicken feet, give it a chance. :)

  The food at Pearl Bay Tea House is legit Cantonese food!
  
  I've been here for both dim sum and dinner and I've walked away fat and happy.  
  
  My favorites for dinner:
  Chef's special beef steak
  Fried chicken wings
  Peking duck, two ways
  Honey walnut shrimp
  
  Service pretty much sucks, which is what I've sadly come to expect at Cantonese restaurants.  It doesn't stop people from overtaking the sidewalk waiting for a table, so they must be doing something right.  Plan in advance and make reservations!
  
  Go for the food, but check your expectations for service at the door. 4 stars for food, 2 stars for service = 3 stars.

  The restaurant was not very busy on a Sunday evening. We have seated right away at about 6pm Sunday.
  
  The inside dining area is much better than their stare front! The outside front entrance is old and outdated! But it looks okay inside the restaurant!
  
  All the dishes we ordered are very good. Nothing stand out, but all better than the average Chinese restaurants.
  
  Services are good in the Chinese restaurants standards. The waitresses are coming back to pick up the empty plates and refills the tea pots. Exchanged our plates when needed. The waitresses also nice and with smile on their faces most of the time.
  
  Parking lot is big and clean. Very easy to find parking space in front of the restaurant and the area looks very safe.
  
  I will come back next time when I'm in the area!

  Don't understand why this place gets low stars but hey maybe it's because current customers want this place to remain not as crowded as typical Dim Sum restaurants. This way they can come in enjoy FAST SERVICE, and Tasty large portions. As for price, I spent about $20 before tax and tip. See pictures of my many meals I purchased for my self. IMO, I believe it's the right price point for this quality, service and Bay Area.  
  
  I came here after dropping off family at the OAK AIRPORT THIS PAST Saturday AM, approx 20 after opening. It was crowded but not as I expected. There was a short line and but restaurant was at capacity. PEOPLE HERE seem to eat and keep their family and friends conversations to a minimum.  THIS IS GREAT BECAUSE THE LINE MOVES FAST. I waited for 2 minutes and was seated right away.  Carts came around quickly, as well as my menu and tea.
  
  a la carte dishes came out fresh, piping hot and the meats tasted as they should. No weird flavors or old meat tastes.
  
  I prolly would have given this place a 5 stars but the Shanghai dumplings were not as great as the infamous Din fin something at Valley Fair mall but it sufficed. Also twice I ordered the raw geoduck platter and twice it was never ordered or charged. Oh well I'll come back again for the seafood specials.

  Have been in this place last few weekends, both lunch dim sum and dinner, after golf near there. Food are quite good and service is quite reasonable, considering an Asian restaurant standard. Their deep fried Taro dumpling is one of the best I had tried. I am not quite sure why they average only get 2.5 stars. If based on yelp star system, I probably won't go there, but my experience w them is quite good. Definitely will go again if near the area.
